New Hope's TECH

Technologies used at New Hope Community Church include but are not limited to:

  1. Computers and laptops
  2. Portable Storage Devices (external hard drives, USB drives, Memory Cards, ect.)
  3. Televisions and Projectors
  4. Audio, Video, and Stereo Equipment
  5. Equipment used by the Worship Team (sound board, microphones, speakers, in-ear monitors, etc.)
  6. Computer networking equipment (routers, switches, hubs, wireless network equipment, etc)
  7. Video Camera Equipment
  8. DNN Content Management System used as the church's website platform

So, do you want to volunteer at New Hope, but are not sure how you can contribute?  Do you have an interest in learning about technology and computers?  Can you use your cell phone camera or a camcorder?  Then this is the ministry for you.

EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED

New Hope TECH Ministry's Vision

The Technology Ministry Team serves the ministry and the people of New Hope Community Church seeking to glorify God by providing technological resources, expertise, and access to, and the utilization of, current and cutting edge technology. In today's digital world, technology serves as a vital link in God's chain to spread the word of Jesus and to assist in bringing people to Christ. The members of this ministry are committed to enhancing each person's worship experience through technology, the internet, and social media.

New Hope TECH Ministry's Mission

The Mission of the New Hope Tech Ministry is to teach and equip people to become familiar with, and properly operate, the various technologies utilized at New Hope Community Church. Members of the Technology Ministry are responsible for operating the audio and video equipment used to record the weekly sermons, operating the computer(s) used for the projection system, maintain the computer network, maintain and update the church's website, and perform maintenance functions for the various computers and other electronic equipment in the church.
